The Three Basic Tasks of a Computer System
There are three basic tasks to a computer. The first task is data is entered into the computer which is an input device. The second task is data processed to obtain the results. The last basic task is the results which is an output device. Some examples for an input device is a keyboard and a mouse. Now for an output device some examples can be a printer and speakers.

Do Now:Vocabulary
Last week we learned in technology four new vocabulary words which are CPU, motherboard. input and output devices. Did you know that CPU stands for central processing unit which means that it is the part in which operations controlled and executed. Also we learned that the motherboard is a/an printed circuit that contains the main unit of another device. In class we also learned that an input device is something that is inside or you put inside a computer or get information. Lastly a output device is it takes information out or are devices that take out information.
